| In order to file a trade mark application in Australia, we require the following: |

| An Australian application claiming Convention priority can be filed within six months of the date of filing the basic application. A power of attorney or other authorisation document is not required to file an application. Further, no documentary evidence of an intention to use the mark is required. Australia is a signatory of the Madrid Protocol and may be nominated as part of an International Trade Mark Registration. |
