Experience:



Steven is a registered Australian patent and trade mark attorney and a European patent attorney, specialising in electronics, IT and mechanical technologies including computer software, business methods and electrical circuits. A fast growing part of Steven’s practice is mining and mining support related, in particular automated mining systems, and data acquisition, analysis and warehousing systems.

Before joining Griffith Hack’s IT group, Steven worked with patent and trade mark attorney firms in Britain and Australia. His overseas experience provides him a particular advantage when assisting overseas clients or Australian clients seeking overseas patents. He is also a fluent French speaker.

Steven has nearly 20 years intellectual property experience, and is particularly sought after for his expertise in drafting complex electrical/IT patent applications. He also has particular expertise in drafting and prosecuting registered designs. His clients range from individual local inventors to large companies in a range of industries.
