Experience:
| Greg has a background in science, having completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in genetics and biotechnology and a Masters of Philosophy in biotechnology, examining the impact of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). He is the author and co-author of peer-reviewed journal articles and newspaper articles relating to biotechnology, its impact and regulation and has presented on the topic.
Greg has experience in both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters. He has acted in copyright, trade mark and patent litigation, as well in commercial disputes in all New South Wales courts.
He has advised clients, particularly in the pharmaceutical and media sectors, in a range of noncontentious intellectual property matters, including copyright and trade marks, the assignment and licensing of intellectual property. Greg has also had significant experience advising in relation to advertising claims (including prescription pharmaceutical advertising), complaints related to advertising claims, privacy law matters and general commercial law matters.
