| Geoff is a patent specialist with over 30 years of experience in intellectual property law. Using his educational and work background in engineering, Geoff’s particular expertise is in handling patent matters in the fields of mechanical and general engineering. His intellectual property practice also includes a responsibility for trade mark matters for many major clients.
A registered patent attorney since 1967, Geoff worked at a major firm of patent attorneys in Melbourne until 1978 when he joined Griffith Hack. He also worked as an engineer in England before getting into patent law.
Geoff’s clients range from small to medium sized businesses to large Australian and overseas corporations, especially those related to the automotive, manufacturing, mining and materials handling industries. Geoff works diligently on developing business relationships with associates in the Asian region, and is the past-President of the Australian Group of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association.
