Experience:
| Chris has significant experience in Australian and international trade mark law and manages the trade mark portfolios for many large national and multi-national companies. Chris provides advice on brand selection, clearance searches, registration, infringement, enforcement, as well as related issues under consumer protection laws, passing off and copyright. Chris has conducted numerous trade mark oppositions and non-use actions before the Australian Trade Marks Office and the Federal Court of Australia. His practice also encompasses domain name dispute resolution.
A registered trade mark attorney, Chris joined Griffith Hack in 1994 and became a principal of the firm in 2000. He regularly presents seminars on intellectual property issues to professional organisations, industry and university groups.
