Griffith Hack announces expansion - Griffith Hack

7 July 2010

Griffith Hack is pleased to announce a significant expansion, with specialist WA firm Mallon & Co.

Mallon & Co specialises in technology and intellectual property (IP) law, and has an impressive client base ranging from the mining and resources sector to retail, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and skincare.

The friendly merger is seen as a win-win for both companies, with Mallon & Co now able to benefit from the established national infrastructure of an industry leader, while Griffith Hack continues to expand its respected IP Law Group.

Griffith Hack now boasts full IP support services to high-profile clients around Australia, with offices located in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

“We see this as a huge boost to our Perth practice, and our expansion into the IP law space,” notes Griffith Hack chairman, Tony Ward. “It’s not just a good fit – it’s a dovetail for both businesses, and one of benefit to our clients.”

Paul Mallon, Director of Mallon & Co, says the amalgamation ticks all the boxes for his organisation as well. “We can still provide a dedicated local service to our important WA-based clients, but we’re now supported by strong national infrastructure,” notes Mr. Mallon. “It actually strengthens our IP capability in WA, by being able to provide a broader range of IP services to our existing and future clients.”
