| Inpex Corporation and Total, joint venture partners in the Ichthys Project, have announced that the total volume of 8.4 mtpa of LNG from the Ichthys Project is to be sold. About 70% of the LNG has been taken up by Japanese utility companies. Gas from the Ichthys field in the Browse Basin offshore WA will undergo preliminary processing offshore to remove water and raw liquids including some condensate, prior to export to an onshore liquefaction plant in Darwin via an 889 km subsea pipeline.
